The experience
A high-altitude salt flat, without crowds
About 60 km from Arequipa, inside the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, the lagoon transforms with the seasons: a shining salt flat in the dry season and a water mirror with Andean flamingos in the rainy season (January–March).
The Pichu Pichu, Misti and Ubinas volcanoes watch over the landscape, and along the way vicuñas, alpacas, llamas and vizcachas appear. Your 4x4 reaches where large vans cannot.

From sunrise to the salt flat
Pickup in Arequipa

Viewpoint and breakfast

Plateau panoramas and a gentle 20–30 min walk.
